Terms of use

Pixday · Effective 5 November 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Daniyel Gamit, an individual developer in India trading as Jessy Craft Studio ("we", "us"), for using the Pixday app and its online services. By using Pixday you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

1. What Pixday is

Pixday is a personal mood journal with habits, goals, check-ins, wellbeing tools and insights. Most of it works without an account. An optional account lets Premium members sync their journal across devices.

2. Not medical advice

Pixday is a self-reflection tool. It isn't a medical device and isn't a substitute for professional care: it doesn't diagnose, treat or prevent any condition. Insights and correlations are patterns in what you've logged, not medical findings. The crisis helplines in the app are listed for convenience; we don't run them and can't guarantee every number is current.

If you're in danger or thinking about harming yourself, contact local emergency services or a crisis line straight away.

3. Who can use it

Pixday is meant for adults. If you're under 18, use it only with a parent's or guardian's permission; they accept these terms on your behalf.

4. Your account

5. Your content

Everything you write, record or upload stays yours. If you turn on cloud sync, you allow us to store and copy it only as needed to sync and back it up for you. We don't read your journal, use it for advertising or share it, except as our privacy policy describes or the law requires.

Keep your own copies of anything important: export a backup file from time to time. Without cloud sync, your journal exists only on your phone, and losing or resetting the phone loses it.

6. Premium

7. Using Pixday fairly

Please don't misuse the app or its services: don't try to get into other people's accounts or our systems, interfere with the service, overload it, copy or resell the app, or use it to break the law.

8. The app itself

We own Pixday, its design and its code. We give you a personal, non-transferable right to use it on your devices under these terms and the rules of the app store you got it from. Third-party parts (such as open-source libraries and fonts) come with their own licences, listed in the app under About → Open-source licenses.

9. Changes and availability

We keep improving Pixday, so features may change. We may change or stop the online services (accounts and sync); if we stop them, we'll give reasonable notice where we can so you can export your data. The app works on your phone without them.

10. Disclaimer and liability

Pixday is provided "as is". We work hard to keep it reliable and your data safe, but we can't promise it will always be available, error-free or that data will never be lost.

To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of data you didn't back up, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for Pixday in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that the law doesn't allow us to limit.

11. Ending this agreement

You can stop using Pixday and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that seriously breaks these terms, and will tell you why unless the law prevents it.

12. Changes to these terms

We'll update the date at the top when these terms change, and tell you in the app before important changes apply. If you keep using Pixday after that, the new terms apply.

13. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Please contact us first so we can try to sort out any problem. If we can't, disputes go to the courts of India, without taking away any right you have to bring a claim where you live.
